The Glenthorne tradition of tea and cakes made freshly in our own kitchen is provided for all of our full board guests and is available to others for a small fee. Tea is served in the garden if the weather is fine, otherwise in the lounge.

Hot drinks are available at all times in the main house and in all rooms.

Meals: We have an extensive range of culinary dishes, prepared by our resident chefs Paul and Peter. You can be assured of a wide variety of wholesome home cooking!

A vegetarian option is always available and if you have a special dietary need prior notification will help us to meet it.

Packed lunches: guests requiring a vegetarian or meat packed lunch should notify a member of staff by or at dinnertime (7.00p.m.) In addition we will fill your flask.

What if it rains? And it does sometimes. Guests are free to use the public areas and drinks facilities.

Guests have access to their rooms at all times.
